Ryan completely surprised us the other day by starting to pedal his bike! We had been trying to help him through the process for months without any success. And then one day, off he went down the sidewalk pedaling as smoothly as can be. He still needs his training wheels but at least we no [...] So our first attempt to go to the Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park last year consisted of: Circling the park and surrounding neighborhoods for an hour to find parking. Walking for 30 minutes from where we parked to the Academy of Sciences. Waiting in line for over an hour to get inside. (Even [...] There was lots of pumpkin carving and the theme for Halloween in the Hoang household this year was Star Wars! Ryan and James went trick-or-treating with some friends from Baker and baseball and they all seemed to enjoy it better being part of a large group. We also went trick-or-treating at the neighborhood near Baker [...] James’ baseball season usually starts in March and ends in June, but this year we decided to sign him up for “Fall Ball.” He played in the Farm level for Fall Ball this season since we figured it was time to move him up from t-ball.
