Guest post by Lisa. Nope! We didn’t have to say cavities . Yep, surprised me too! I took Ryan to his first dentist appointment and was very worried that he would have a mouth full of cavities. First off, Ryan LOVES candy…anything with sugar actually. Second, he is not that good at brushing. And third, [...] *This post is for parents or parents-to-be only. All others may skip this post. No, it shouldn’t read milestone #2 for Ryan. Ryan is now officially potty trained for both #1′s and #2′s! He dreaded sitting on the potty for #2′s for a long time so we just let him go at his own pace. [...] is not like the other. Can you find the Ryan in penguin’s clothing? Ryan has always had a fascination with penguins. I don’t remember exactly when it started but his collection of penguins has grown exponentially within the past year or so. The collection now stands at 21 as of our last count. More often than [...] Today… I dropped Ryan off at pre-school… And… he… did… NOT cry!! What a wonderful day this is. There was a bit of “Daddy, I don’t want you to go.”, but there was not a tear shed whatsever. I was simply awed and amazed and extremely happy. I shared the news with Lisa right away and she [...] That’s what Ryan asked me when I went to pick him up from his first day of pre-school. He also added “I didn’t want to be here!” He was not a happy camper. Lisa and I had been both dreading and looking forward to this day for quite awhile. We knew Ryan would have to [...] We’re in Vegas baby!! This is James’ second trip to Vegas and Ryan’s first. James was only 1 1/2 when we came here with him last time so he doesn’t remember much of it. Come to think of it, we don’t remember very much of it either. We arrived last night around 6:20pm PT. We [...] Ryan’s bewitching hours are still between 8:00pm and 10:00pm. (Yes, he’s still a night owl.) During these hours he is completely fun loving and silly. He will babble with you, jump around and hop on you and be just playful. We wish he was in this good mood all the time. Geez, I really need to update these blogs more often. These are the events I still need to post pictures for. Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, and our trip to the snow. On our trip to Tahoe last month, we had quite the adventure going up.
